PREPARING YOUR SKIN AND SUPPORTING YOUR RESULTS

You will begin using the skincare regimen one week before your first treatment appointment and continue throughout your course, following the personalised guidance I provide.
Any retinoids, exfoliating acids and other resurfacing products should be discontinued for seven days before and after each treatment. Excessive heat, saunas, hot showers and strenuous exercise should also be avoided for the first 24 to 48 hours following each appointment.

Do I need to use different skincare before and after treatment?

This includes the skincare you’ll start to use this one week before your first appointment and throughout your course. I’ll explain exactly how and when to use each product, so there’s no need to work out your treatment skincare routine yourself.

Is D∙E∙J BioStim suitable for all skin types and conditions?
D∙E∙J BioStim can be suitable for some sensitive skins, but this depends on your skin’s condition, sensitivity and tolerance to active ingredients.
As the treatment uses a concentrated multi-acid delivery system, particular care is needed with reactive or compromised skin. D∙E∙J BioStim is not suitable for skin experiencing active rosacea or active inflammatory acne, particularly where inflammation, pustules or heightened sensitivity are present.
I will assess your skin before treatment to determine whether BioStim is appropriate. If your skin barrier is compromised or your skin is particularly reactive, I may recommend improving its condition before proceeding.
