Where Tissue Repair and Hydration Improve Skin Structure

Skin boosters and polynucleotides are increasingly popular regenerative treatments designed to improve skin quality on both the face and body. Rather than adding volume or altering facial structure, these treatments focus on improving hydration, tissue function and overall skin health, making them particularly suitable for delicate areas such as the eye region.

Traditional tear trough filler works by placing cross-linked hyaluronic acid beneath the skin to replace lost volume. While this approach may be appropriate for carefully selected patients, it may not be suitable for individuals prone to puffiness or fluid retention under the eyes. Regenerative treatments, such as polynucleotides, support the skin’s natural repair mechanisms, improving tissue quality without adding volume.

Polynucleotides are highly purified DNA fragments derived from salmon sources, selected for their high biocompatibility with human tissue. Acting as bio-stimulators, they support cellular repair, encourage fibroblast activity and promote collagen and elastin production. This leads to gradual strengthening of the skin, improved elasticity and enhanced skin resilience over time, making polynucleotides particularly effective for fragile or compromised skin, including the peri-orbital area.

Skin boosters and bioremodelling treatments work differently but share the same goal of improving skin quality. Treatments such as Seventy Hyal 2000 function primarily as a skin booster, delivering non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid to deeply hydrate the skin and improve smoothness and luminosity.

Profhilo differs slightly in its mechanism and is classified as a bioremodelling treatment. Using a unique combination of high- and low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid, Profhilo disperses within the tissue to stimulate collagen and elastin production while improving hydration and skin laxity. Rather than simply hydrating the skin, it supports structural remodelling of ageing or thinning tissue.

Polynucleotides work through biological regeneration, supporting cellular repair, while skin boosters enhance hydration, and Profhilo promotes tissue remodelling. These treatments are often complementary and can be combined within a treatment programme to optimise overall skin health.

Unlike traditional dermal fillers, neither skin boosters, bioremodelling treatments, nor polynucleotides are designed to change facial shape or create volume. Their purpose is to restore skin quality, improve function and support long-term tissue integrity.

Seventy Hyal 2000

Seventy Hyal 2000  – Skin Hydration Therapy
Intensive Skin Hydration & Glow
2ml – single face treatment – £175
2ml – single neck treatment – £175
2ml – single hand treatment – £175
Recommended Protocol:
2-3 treatments performed 4 weeks apart.
Maintenance every 4–9 months, depending on skin quality.
Hyaluronic acid hydration peaks after the first treatment, while the second treatment improves dermal water retention and fibroblast stimulation.
Ideal for: dehydration, dull skin, loss of radiance, fine lines, and maintenance alongside professional facials.
Maintenance every 4–6 months

Illuma Luna – Regenerative Polynucleotide Eye Therapy
EYES 1ml single treatment – £140
Recommended Protocol:
3 x treatments performed 3-4 weeks apart.
Maintenance every 6–9 months.
Polynucleotides stimulate fibroblast activity gradually; peri-orbital tissue requires repeated signalling due to the thin dermal structure and reduced vascularity.
Ideal for: Dark circles, crepey under-eye skin, fine lines, early laxity, thin or ageing eye tissue.

Vitaran Advanced Regenerative Polynucleotide Skin Therapy
EYES or NECK1ml Single treatment – £165
Recommended Protocol:
3 x treatments performed 3-4 weeks apart.
Maintenance every 6–9 months.
Suitable for: crepey under eyes, fine lines, tired or thinning skin, and early laxity.

FACE2ml single treatment – £295
Recommended Protocol:
3 x treatments performed 3-4 weeks apart.
Maintenance every 6–9 months.
Polyneucleotides initiate tissue repair signalling, collagen synthesis and extracellular matrix remodelling. Repeated treatments sustain fibroblast activation and dermal restructuring.
Suitable for: skin quality decline, loss of elasticity, acne scarring, dull or ageing skin.

FACE AND NECK3ml single treatment – £395
Recommended Protocol:
3 x treatments performed 3-4 weeks apart.
Maintenance every 6–9 months.
Ideal for: global skin rejuvenation, early laxity, preventative age management

Profhilo – Advanced Skin Remodelling
2ml single face treatment – £250
2ml single neck treatment – £250
2ml single hand treatment – £250
Recommended Protocol:
2 x treatments performed 4 weeks apart.
Maintenance every 6–9 months.
High-concentration HA disperses throughout the tissue, stimulating adipocyte and fibroblast activity and progressively improving tissue quality and laxity after the second treatment.
Ideal for clients seeking improved structure and firmness, skin bounce, smoother texture, subtle tightening feel, and luminosity.
