Advanced, Bespoke Facial Treatments Tailored to Your Skin

Every bespoke facial treatment at The Beauty Bistro, Hedge End, begins with a professional skin assessment. You don’t need to know which facial, technology or treatment your skin needs. Simply choose the length of your appointment, and I will take care of the rest.

Rather than following a fixed facial routine, I tailor each appointment to how your skin looks, feels and behaves on the day, while keeping your individual concerns and longer-term skin goals in mind.

You don’t need to have a specific skin concern to benefit from a bespoke facial. Your skin may simply look dull, dehydrated, tired, or in need of a boost. You may also require more targeted help with concerns such as sensitivity, pigmentation, congestion, uneven texture, or a gradual loss of firmness and elasticity.

Skin is constantly changing. Ageing, hormonal changes, lifestyle, stress, inflammation and environmental exposure can all influence its condition. Having the flexibility to respond to those changes means your facial isn’t restricted to one particular treatment or piece of technology.

Instead, I draw upon different professional techniques and advanced technologies to create a facial around what will benefit your skin most at that particular appointment.

Choosing Your Bespoke Facial Treatment

The 60 minute Clinical Facial Skin Treatment is ideal for regular appointments, maintaining skin health and addressing your skin’s needs as they change.

The 90 minute Advanced Clinical Facial Skin Treatment gives me additional time for a more comprehensive treatment, to combine a greater number of techniques where appropriate, or simply if you would prefer a longer, 90 minute appointment.

I have an extensive range of professional treatments and advanced technologies available, including controlled skin resurfacing, chemical peels, radiofrequency, LED phototherapy, cold plasma, CACI facial muscle stimulation, EMS, direct contact cryotherapy, microneedling, oxygen therapy, no needle mesotherapy and advanced professional skincare delivery systems.

These treatments allow me to assess your skin and create a completely bespoke facial using the techniques and technologies that will benefit your skin most. You are simply booking my time and expertise, and I take care of the rest.

For clients who prefer the structure of regular appointments and ongoing skincare support, The Skin Consistency Method provides a consistent approach to professional treatment and homecare.

Bespoke facial FAQ’S

Which skin concerns can bespoke facial treatments help with?

You don’t need to have a specific skin concern to benefit from a bespoke facial. Treatments can be used to maintain healthy skin and improve hydration, radiance and overall skin quality, as well as address concerns including sensitivity, congestion, acne, rosacea, eczema, uneven texture, dullness, pigmentation irregularities, loss of firmness and elasticity, and visible signs of skin ageing. Rather than treating a concern in isolation, I also consider the overall condition and function of your skin, including barrier health, hydration and resilience, when deciding your treatment.

Do I need a consultation before my first facial?

Every bespoke facial begins with a short skin assessment, allowing me to evaluate your skin’s condition, discuss any concerns and determine which treatments and technologies are most appropriate on the day.

If you’re new to The Beauty Bistro, I recommend booking the New Client Skin Consultation & Bespoke Facial, which combines a comprehensive skin consultation, advanced 3D skin analysis and your first personalised facial treatment in one appointment.

Alternatively, you can book a 60 minute Clinical Facial or 90 minute Advanced Clinical Facial directly. You don’t need to know which treatments your skin requires. Simply choose your appointment length, and I will take care of the rest.

Will I have the same facial treatment every time?

No. Your skin is continually changing and can be affected by factors such as hormones, stress, lifestyle, medication, environmental exposure, seasonal changes and your home skincare routine.

I reassess your skin at each appointment and adapt your treatment accordingly. Even when we are working towards the same longer-term objective, the treatment itself will change as your skin responds and progresses.

The one exception is CACI. If CACI forms part of your regular treatment programme, it will remain a consistent element of your appointments. However, the treatments and technologies I use alongside CACI may change depending on what your skin requires at each visit.

How often should I have a bespoke facial?

There is no single treatment frequency that is suitable for everyone. How often I recommend treatment will depend on your skin, your concerns, the treatments being performed and what we are working to achieve. Generally speaking, an appointment every four to six weeks is recommended.
Some clients benefit from a structured course of treatment initially, followed by regular maintenance. I can recommend an appropriate treatment frequency for your skin during your appointment.

Can I have a bespoke facial if I use retinol or prescription skincare?

Yes. Using retinol or prescription skincare does not necessarily prevent you from having a bespoke facial. I will review your current skincare products and medications as part of your skin assessment, allowing me to adapt the treatment, techniques and technologies to suit your skin’s condition and tolerance.

However, I do not carry out facial treatments on clients currently taking oral isotretinoin (Roaccutane) or within six months of completing their course. After this period, treatment suitability will be assessed individually.

What happens if my skin is particularly sensitive or irritated on the day?

Please still attend your appointment. I don’t only treat skin when it is at its best. Sensitive, irritated, dry, reactive or compromised skin can still be assessed and treated appropriately.

Seeing your skin when it isn’t at its best can be extremely valuable. I can assess how it is presenting on the day and adapt your facial accordingly, focusing on exactly what your skin needs at that time. If there is a reason treatment would not be appropriate, I will always advise you.

Can I have a bespoke facial if I have recently had Botox or dermal fillers?

A minimum waiting time of two weeks must be allowed after injectable facial treatments before having a bespoke facial at The Beauty Bistro. This allows the treated area sufficient time to settle before facial massage or advanced technologies are performed.
